The Prajna Vihar School teaches underprivileged children in Bodh Gaya, Bihar, India.
Pupils and students of different religions study, learn and share their experiences together. They learn to appreciate the richness of all religious traditions and the significance of the arts.
Registered with the Indian government, Prajna Vihar Inter-religious Education Society (PVIRES) runs our school, which teaches children from kindergarten up to class 10 in two semesters a year, starting in April and September.
The students then continue to complete their education in classes 11 and 12 in nearby schools. Some continue into further education from college, to learning trades and attending university.

Thousands of children have found self-respect, developed literacy, formed lifelong friendships and used their education to support their family, village, township and society.
We wish to thank our dedicated teachers, committees, trustees and donors for their years of support.

We also wish to thank parents of children who are able to give monthly support for the school.
From a small seed, a mighty bodhi tree grows.
THANK YOU.
